Generative Engineering of Die Casting Parts for Antivibration Applications

Webinar with our partner Henniges Automotive

Generative Engineering plays a major role for the design of AM parts. But why not take advantage of reduced development times and costs for other manufacturing processes? Die casting plays a significant role in the automotive industry in particular because of its suitability for series production. And in conventional product development, manual iterations and interfaces between isolated departments are still omnipresent here as well. So, what does the digitized development of a die casting component look like and what savings can be achieved through generative engineering in non-AM manufacturing processes?

Joined by Petric Seipel, senior Product Engineer for antivibration at Henniges automotive, we will discuss how to successfully implement Generative Engineering for the development of die casting parts in use for antivibration applications in automotive. We will gain insight into the implementation of the digital product development process in ELISE and the possibility of optimizing die casting parts. And we will learn about the added value this approach can achieve in terms of performance, efficiency and sustainability.
